We stayed one night and could not have been happier. The entire staff from the publican to the owner were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, well furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.

Clean, bright and spacious property, with a partial sea view and good underground parking. The location, adjacent to both the high street on one side and the sea on the other was perfect. Everything was very clean and the appearance of the property is well reflected in the photographs.

Lots of history there, walking guides on the internet, good choice of restaurants and a Sainsburys. Great center for a walking holiday and for lovers of ancient churches and the 100-year old Romney Hythe & Dymchurch steam railway.

A good place to stay for touring around the area,...

A good place to stay for touring around the area, particularly the Medieval Churches on Romney mMrsh and the RHDR railway. Several independent shops in the village. The Ship Inn provides good food and drink and a warm welcome.

The location is just perfect if you want to stay near Camber...

The location is just perfect if you want to stay near Camber Sands only gun about 30min by car. The beds are comfortable, the bedsheets were very fresh and clean and the room was fresh. Everything was clean and pleasant to stay in. I had a very good sleep same as other my 4 companions. The place is quiet and has a very friendly owner.

It is a remarkable location in many respects and with the steam railway running through the campsite location and the unique coastline to explore it really is a place to visit. Plus of course the Pilot Inn and old lighthouse to explore. And of course the usual arcades for the children!

Lovely small hotel, housed in a properly old building with traditional features that reek of character (yes, low ceilings and single glazed windows - this ain't a generic Premier Inn type place), brought to life by wonderful managers and staff. And the food, especially the breakfast, is fantastic. You don't often get value for money like this anymore. But if you want bland & monotonous, go elsewhere.

Good clean hotel, with good comms on arrival. Good clean room. Breakfast from the pub downstairs was great.. (nit included) make sure you book.. they will get anything for you for breakfast. It’s not all on the menu!
