A delightful, cosy cottage located near the stunning Newborough Beach and Ynys Llanddwyn. Excellent use of space in the cottage, providing a comfy double bed, shower room and compact, but well equipped kitchen. Lovely, helpful, friendly owners.

Location was an easy commute to Holyhead for the ferry. Room was comfortable. It was unfortunate that they weren't providing food the night we were there as there was nothing else nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful and tried their best to help

Amazing location and beautiful views all around! Very friendly and welcoming hosts. We travelled as two couples and everything was just right. An evening by a cosy fire in UK November weather in such a well-thought-out, homely place was perfect. And there was a friendly surprise in the morning when we were greeted by Oscar – a true gentleman of a dog – who came to say “hi” on his way home from his walk! There are places to eat nearby, but we were very happy with the well-stocked kitchen and cooking steaks in the evenings. Small touches such as artisan bread, biscuits, and jam made us feel even more welcome. Since the weather didn’t allow us to climb Snowdon, we’ll definitely be back! 😊

Beautiful and convenient part of Anglesey with a fab beach...

Beautiful and convenient part of Anglesey with a fab beach and light houses. Lovely beach and forest walks . Well stocked local store but only a part time pub and nearest place to eat out was Rhosneigr which had lots of choice but a 20 min drive away.

If you like walking and getting away from the busy world...

If you like walking and getting away from the busy world it’s your place to visit. Not many restaurants or pubs in Newborough so either be self sufficient or drive to nearby areas if you want to eat out.

not a lot of places to eat.beach was very nice after we found it.Pub in newborough was ok. chip shop very nice friendly staff and freshly cooked food.Not alot to do though . DEFINATLY need a car to get anywhere unless your a walker

I only stayed one night - it was central to travel to Zip...

I only stayed one night - it was central to travel to Zip World at Penryhn Quarry. Could have happily stayed longer if time permitted. Therefore I can't give an accurate review of Newborough but what I did see was lovely

We had a great tapas meal in the Red Squirrel cafe - it...

We had a great tapas meal in the Red Squirrel cafe - it closes for winter, but look out for it in Spring/Summer. Newborough Forest was beautiful and we walked for miles. Everyone really friendly. We hope to return.

Newborough is a quiet village in a very scenic location.

Newborough is a quiet village in a very scenic location. There is a well equipped village shop a few minutes drive from the cottage and an interesting transport museum a few minutes walk away. From the cottage is a panoramic view of the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia), Quiet beaches are within easy reach.
