Excellent hotel, great room, clean and spacious, very comfortable bed. Bathroom large with a bath. Very convenient location for motorways, also very near Saltaire I walked from the hotel there, which took about half an hour. The car park is large and no fee, just remember to put your registration in at reception. Staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant.

We stayed in the hotel for one night, at first our room was a little bit small, but we soon got a nice surprise with a massive room at no extra cost.(Room difference in pictures) Staff was really friendly, got recommended a place to eat where we had a really nice meal on top of that! As they do not have a restaurant, only a bar with no license so no alcohol on site. Apart if you bring your own.

What Guests Said About Oxenhope:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 10

The views and country walks are perfect.

The views and country walks are perfect. Visit Howarth for everything Bronte but beware of the steep cobbled high street, luckily there are sit down benches en route, and do take a ride on the steam railway, which was just the ticket for railway enthusiasts but also for nostalgia sake and the Railyway children, whilst there ensure you visit the railway museum at Ingrow Station. Not far away is Hebden Bridge which you have to browse around, very quaint. The whole area is perfect for ramblers and bibliophiles. Loved it.

Oxenhope is only small, laying in a valley, but there is a maze of interesting public footpaths and walks that can lead to stunning views (beware that these often require extensive uphill walking). The Keighley and Worth heritage steam railway starts here, and the station is in easy walking distance from the cottage. There are pubs and a fish and chop shop as well as a good sized local co-op store.

we had family to see and traffic from there and diversions took forever. If you want to stay near buy pretty town but no real services. No food except down the road 10 mins fox and dogs, fantastic. I'd pick another town!!!!
