The property was easy to get to and the room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The binder had clear instructions for everything. It was a very nice location with little traffic. The staff was incredibly friendly and even came outside to show us where to park. The people next door made sure we had the door key before going upstairs to our rooms.

Penistone is a quaint village with unique shops and eateries...

Penistone is a quaint village with unique shops and eateries. It is a gateway to a lot of areas that we like to visit. The market was poor on the Saturday but I have been previously on the Thurs and it was lively then. The scenery around the area is beautiful. We will visit again.

It's quite a hilly town so anyone with walking or breathing...

It's quite a hilly town so anyone with walking or breathing issues may find it a bit hard going. Not a big town centre and not a lot of shops but it has everything for day to day living including supermarkets.

I was able to walk to the places I wanted to see.

I was able to walk to the places I wanted to see. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the views from Cubley Hall as well as Midhopestones. I have decided that I wish to return due to a family connection next year.

Lovely town, has everything you need in walking distance.

Lovely town, has everything you need in walking distance. Locals are all friendly, offering recommendations to attractions and places to eat. If you get a chance, check out the paramount cinema, classic one screen cinema with plenty of seating, an bar open during intermission and affordable tickets!

The staff in arrival were attentive.

The staff in arrival were attentive. The breakfast staff looked after us and checked we had everything we needed. We didn’t have dinner the night we arrived because we were shattered but the meals offered were fairly priced . If we visited again we would book an evening meal on our stay.

A good place to stay for visiting local attractions - in our case Canon Hall Farm. The restaurants we ate at during our two night stay served excellent food - Ti amo (Italian) and Cinnamon Spice (Indian)

The hotel is well located and easy to access. The staff were all welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room and bed were comfortable, with a good shower in the bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was very tasty and great value. The breakfast offered a good range of choices and was plentiful and tasty. Throughout our stay all of the staff we encountered provided great service. We would recommend Cubley Hall Hotel without hesitation.

Nice property in a good location for Penistone, we stayed in the loft bedroom which was large and spacious and very clean, the breakfast was excellent as were the hosts, definitely return if in the area

The house was very central in the town. There were plenty of clean towels and the bedrooms were bright and airy. It was great to have a parking bay. Overall a comfortable 2 nights stay in Penistone.
