The entire place is newly renovated and everything was clean and tidy. The staff and owner (on site) were friendly and quite helpful. This inn is also a popular neighborhood pub with lots of regulars of all ages. A fun vibe.

It was very clean, modern and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it.

The stay was exceptionally quiet.

A really great place — clear instructions for the entrance and parking, everything easy to follow. The location is excellent, right in the centre, with a huge Tesco store next door. The room was comfortable and clean.

The staff were particularly nice and accommodating.the room was spotless and the comments about it being dated are unfair, it is class and quality in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again but I would eat at their restaurant rather than locally as it is very appealing and the pub we went to was exceptionally underwhelming.

What a lovely building inside and out with beautiful gardens too. Cheerful, helpful staff. Our room, in the main Manor House, was comfortable and spacious with wonderful views over the town. The wood pannelled bar was comfortable and as we were the only guests for the first night the lovely receptionist served us. Magnificent fireplaces. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Looked like a beautiful place for an event. Really nice to have great service in a proper hotel.

The room was clean and tidy and the sofabed was actually very comfortable. The staff were attentive and very friendly. There's a lovely little bar downstairs for a drink in the evening.
