The room was clean and decent. Small but average for a European room. Hot water for the shower and the toilet worked.

Very good for price and Location

I stayed this beautiful guesthouse two nights between 12-14 April 2025 with my family. The room was quite large. The room smelled very nice. The pillows and sheets were so clean. The hotel is in a very quiet location. The employees were super attentive. There is a great locking system for the hotel's outer door and your room's door. You don't need a key or card. You enter the hotel and your room with a personal password. There was an iron and ironing board in the room. There was also a kettle and tea and coffee. There is a spare room where you can leave your luggage or stroller.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful. We were greeted in our fool with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate for our anniversary.

Great staff. We arrived many hours before our check-in time, and they surprised us by having our room ready in 20 minutes.

This property is close enough to the main city center and far enough away to enjoy a calmer side of the city all the comfort and convenience without busy city noise. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are beautiful.

The best thing I found in the room is the fact that they had a few UK sockets, as well as an EU one. For someone like me who forgot to bring an adapter, that was a major save, since that was one less thing I had to think about. Also additional USB plugs for charging. Instead of the usual paper greeting, their TVs were set to a greeting that included your name, which was a nice touch, as was the fact that the main page on the TV had all the necessary info just there, available for you, such as general hotel information, how to connect your devices to the TV and wifi. The room itself was cozy, clean and very comfortable. The housekeeping team did a good job of keeping it that way for the entire duration of our stay. Due to a change in flight schedule we had to book an additional night, besides the original reservation, and the hotel staff was kind enough to help and ensure that we won't have to change rooms for an additional night. Overall - very nice.

Comfortable, clean, great worth for money, friendly staff

I totally reccomend the hotel in Edinburgh. We were on holidays and it was ideal por us. It is well located, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was perfect

The building was beautifully appointed, maintaining the original character. The staff were attentive, competent, and pleasant. The meals were also very good, including the breakfast.

The breakfast was excellent, we liked the castle itself, it was quiet, cozy, peaceful, surrounded by nature, horses, the decoration inside is impressive

The calming greenery area around the hotel , how wide and comfortable the room is! And of course the delicious breakfast! Everything was amazing honestly.

Picturesque and very close to downtown and Public transformation

Beautifully decorated. Most comfortable bed we have had in Europe and we do a lot of traveling! Friendly host. Great dinner next door with a drink on the house!

Great for solo travellers. The single room I stayed in had an amazing view. Extremely quiet and peaceful area. You can reach the Old Town by bus in 15 minutes, with the stop right near the accommodation.
