Close to lots of restaurants. Short drive to stonehenge, 1 hour to bath, 20 min to salisbury, 1 hour to Southampton. Central location and the town had lots of interesting buildings. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

a lovely village and a great stay , Michael was a great host nothing was to much trouble and had so much knowledge of the surrounding area the house is situated right on the river and so peaceful and quiet the village was very friendly and the pub is a great asset to the community a trip to the pub is a must good food and friendly staff and regulars . The mill house is definitely a place I would go back to the breakfast was very good so overall a great quiet few days away and a big thanks to Michael .

The pub has limited opening hours, we didn’t check before we wanted to visit and found it closed until 6pm on Sundays and closed all day Mondays. Handy co op. Interesting old jail building. Lovely walks. Had a meal at the Bridge Inn a few miles away, lovely setting by the river.

Shrewton is a lovely little village near to Stonehenge.

Shrewton is a lovely little village near to Stonehenge. The residents are very friendly and helpful. It has a Co-op shop which is open from 6am-10pm. There is a pub called the Plume of Feathers. There is a butchers called Billy Baxter’s which sells lovely sausages. It has a stream that runs all the way through it which has beautiful clear water. Would definitely stay there again.

The Nook is tucked away on a country estate in Shrewton. It was beautifully presented, clean and welcoming. It has underfloor heating which is easily adjustable and constant hot water. There are walks around the estate and also in the village within a few minutes walking distance. Also there are pubs restaurants and shops all locally too. The staff on the estate were friendly and very welcoming too.

We had a very lovely stay in this marvellous manor in Shrewton. The interior was cosy and the staff very kind and helpful. The freshly prepped full english breakfast tasted very good and we definitely will recommend this B&B!

Very close to Stonehenge. A gem of a place with really lovely, freshly cooked food for breakfast and dinner. Also very friendly. It is an independent Hotel/B&B with all the charm that you would expect.
