Lovely beach, great for dogs, could be a few too many if you don't like dogs. Good playground for young children. Be aware as you are walking around streets as there are regular dog messes that have not been picked up.

The beach has a nice landscape, if on the slightly mournful side because of the grey skies. But it is a very northern English coast after all! The water quality was good, though a bit colder than what I suspect most people would be used to. The sand was soft and clean.
