IsraelWe really enjoyed the place itself - beautiful building, pub and restaurant below, classic "old London" design of the lobby, stairs and rooms. In addition to that, spotless room, with everything you need, close to Elisabeth line station (which is direct to Heathrow airport and to London center), fine beer in the pub, helpful staff, and a very good breakfast (several hot options plus "continental" buffet). Will definetly stay here again when in London.

I know Twickenham well having lived there. 30 years later it...
I know Twickenham well having lived there. 30 years later it has improved with the pedestrianisation of Church Street. Workhas commenced on demolishing some ugly shops which will open up the view of the river from King Sttreet. I'm looking forward to seeing the result.
There are some pleasant pubs, including those near the river. Marble Hill Park and Radnor Gardnes are also really nice, with dog-walkers welcome.
We checked out Walpole's wonderful Strawberry Hill House - it was well worth the visit.

Ideal for anyone wanting to visit for London sightseeing or big Sporting occasions as well as large groups . We were 12 including 2 kids and its far enough away from the centre of London to be able to relax but close enough to get direct trains in to see the sights.

Excellant location great value for money lovely lady on front desk made us very welcome.....only down side was the rain (all night) hitting the tin/ metal gridding above the window disturbed my elderly mother and mines sleep sounded like drumming outside the window room 344 looking out over semi curcular roof.when reported to add insult to injury we were offered a complimentary breakfast and room upgrade if available on a future stay?

The worst experience of my 40 years travelling life.
The worst experience of my 40 years travelling life. My room door which opens to the outside world had several vertical cracks that let in both the outside cold air and light. The key to the door was the 100 year old key hole that also let in drafty cold air and light. The water radiator had no controls on it. they were removed. The provided pillow was a couch pillow, not a sleeping pillow, big/fat and round with no give. The room was a shoe box 3 meters by 3 meters for which I paid over $260 per night. The bathroom was smaller than an outhouse. I could go on. the only positive is that it is 5 min walk from Twickenham rugby ground. Not worth it.

Twickenham is full of surprises! Rich history all around..Thames walk in nice weather is very relaxing..Quiet, local atmosphere..Strongly recommend Persian Restaurant in city centre.Food was amazing!.

Very poor.
Very poor. Getting ripped off for car parking charge when staying at the hotel is extremely poor. We arrived in the dark, our first visit. We asked where to park and we thought we had followed instructions. Only to be fined £60 for parking in the wrong place. We will never stay here again
