This is a charming spacious very comfortable apartment. I had booked it for myself and brother visiting from Canada, it allowed for a base for him and our siblings to be together. The beach is few minutes away.

Good communication from the host, good value for money. The room was exceptionally clean and Judith was very accommodating. There was tea, coffee, orange juice, water and little cakes in the room. The bed was very comfy. Thanks so much, would definitely recommend.

I was there for the annual Wilson Cup at the West Kirby Sailing Club so it was a special weekend, full of like-minded folks. But what a spectacular waterfront along Marine Lake and the gorgeous sandbank beyond. Enjoyed exploring Bank Street, and some of the area restaurants. A long weekend was perfect. Make sure to book a meal at the wonderful pub and bistro, Ring O’Bells.

Surprisingly interesting place.

Surprisingly interesting place. Nice parks, lovely Marine lake, recently completed promenade which is part of the King Charles III coastal footpath. Plenty of decent restaurants and good travel links to Liverpool.

Friendly welcome, independent shops, walks to Hilbre, Red rocks, the sea lake, and a day in Ness. It is a place at peace with itself and has a cafe culture - people looked well and restaurants were busy - not sure if people visit from outside the area to eat but the sailing and windsurfing facilities were a big attraction and fun to watch

West Kirby is a very clean and tidy little town, with lots of beautiful houses. The sea and Marine Lake are easily accessible and Ashton Park is beautifully kept. We enjoyed walking the Marine Path each morning. There are lots of individual shops in the town, as well as a couple of big supermarkets. All the shop keepers and most of the people around were friendly and responded positively to our greetings. There are lots of people walking dogs in the town, but we saw only one dog mess which hadn’t been picked up. There were also plenty of places to eat out, either for coffee, lunch or dinner at night. We tried several and were very satisfied with them all. St Bridget’s church is also worth a visit. It’s a lovely red sandstone church and is surrounded by an interesting graveyard! We will definitely visit West Kirby again!

I liked the room which was spacious, with a nice view to the property's garden, and I was able to come and go as I pleased. The host was very hospitable, even going so far as to offer me lifts to and from West Kirby when I had my luggage with me! The location suited me fine, as it was close to where I grew up, and within walking distance of West Kirby's railway station which provides easy access to Liverpool.

We had a fabulous stay at this house in West Kirby. Steve and Nina were the perfect hosts and thought of everything we could possibly need to make our stay perfect. There was a really touching welcome pack of goodies to save us shopping for essentials. The house is beautiful, perfectly situated for West Kirby centre and the station and they even ordered sunshine for us. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Really great location for us. The right size and comfortable. When we had a problem with the heating, the owner was extremely responsive. All in all a great stay. I hope we will be able to book it again next time we are in West Kirby.
