Casa Real Boutique Hotel is a gem in the Monterrico area. Located in Aldea Candelaria, it is much more private and exclusive than the busier spots closer to the main town. The vibes were incredibly chill and the property is right on the beach, so you get that perfect mix of ocean breeze and quiet relaxation. The staff is famous for being super attentive. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The pool is so refreshing, with drinks/food severed to us poolside, and the pool area looks incredible when lit up at night. Both the food and service at the on-site restaurant were amazing. It felt like we had a private chef. We ordered the family size shrimp which was a massive 2 pounds of shrimp with all the sides, truly delicious. They also have room service, but we preferred to sit in the patio to view the ocean. The room was clean, comfortable, and most importantly, they have AC that actually works. Ernesto was very welcoming and always asked us if we needed anything else. Our Spanish is limited, yet he so proficient with Google Translate that we never had an issue. Uber is quite sparse, but Ernesto has local drivers that he can call for Transportation if you would like to go into town to walk around or to release the Sea Turtles. Personally, I would prefer to just stay at Casa Real and listen to the waves crashing.

The grounds were beautiful ! pool is nice food was good . service for the food was poor. They did not give a room that is in the picture and did not have a miskito net which would have helps since i had lots of bites after . toilet did not flush so had to use another rooms bathroom. no discounts were taken for the inconvenience.

I loved the location of the hotel. It has a huge garden and the pool was just outside of our room. The pool itself is big and clean. Importantly, only hotel guests are allowed to use it, so it is also calm and safe. The food is tasty and the kitchen is very clean. The rooms are clean and the beds were convenient. The owners are exceptional, they made our stay very special. They also helped in organizing our program. The staff is very nice too. Very family friendly, I would go anytime again!
