Lovely country property with horses roaming . We liked the self service kitchen that had everything. We went to town to get some food at the grocer and cooked dinner as we have been eating out all week.

Good location, nice grounds, good access to a footpath and beach. Excellent choices at breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff. Plenty of choices for lunch / dinner. Hard to single out a particular thing as our two day stay was thoroughly enjoyable. All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The smell of burning wood from the open fire in the reception lounge. The outdoors hot tub is so enjoyable. Everything in the spa is spotless and very well maintained (swimming pools, sauna, steam room) and comfortable. We did not opt for the fine dining restaurant but enjoyed tasty light food in the confortable bar-lounge.

This 400-year old hotel is nestled in the beautiful Vale of Avoca, overlooking Woodenbridge Golf Club. Its modern rooms have free Wi-Fi, while its AA Rosette restaurant serves full Irish breakfasts.
