United StatesOur room was small but comfortable with everything we needed for our two nights. It had a large wardrobe and dresser to store/hang our clothes. We appreciated that we could open a couple of the windows on our second night as it got sunny and warmed our room during the day but cooled nicely at night. The house was located far off the road and was very peaceful. We had a lovely view from our room and enjoyed seeing and hearing the 3 donkeys they own. Breakfast was delicious!

Foxford is a lovely quiet place, it has cracking pubs and...
Foxford is a lovely quiet place, it has cracking pubs and the chippy is a belter. Jordan’s pub do a lovely Irish breakfast, the people were lovely.. 15 mins from Ballina which is a cracking place to go, it’s also local to pontoon which has beautiful views.

My room was perfect although the heating was not working...
My room was perfect although the heating was not working well. However, an additional oil filled radiator was also available but I forgot to turn it off before going to bed so overnight the room became quite war.
The staff were wonderfully friendly and efficient and I would recommend them for praise.
The food was varied, dellicious and well presented and worth every penny.
The only issue I would have is in the upstairs rooms, in which my friends were booked, were quite small. Howver, our stay was excellent

I loved Foxford and the people, I travelled to Castlebar for...
I loved Foxford and the people, I travelled to Castlebar for a Chris Norman concert and the bus drivers were so nice and helpful as I wasn't sure if where I was going.
After a great night, treated myself to fish and chips and chatted with the residents of Foxford who were lovely. One bus driver played Chris Norman songs and sang them too. Not even the snowstorm on Saturday or torrential rain put me off. Beautiful place.

The accommodation was A1.
The accommodation was A1. It was close to many wonderful sites and beauty spots. Attymass, Knock, the Ox mountains, Local towns, all in excellent proximity combined with excellent sunny weather made our few days memorable.

When we arrived she said there was no bed and that she was cancelled our room she sounds a bit weird on phone send us abusive message which we are going to deal with booked into hotel to be told she does this all the time so went to garda in ballina but there nothing the could do but we will take text messages she send to us to further please don't book that place if you want somewhere to sleep and peaceful night

Kathryn was fantastic, great communication, gave us great recommendations for local walks and local restaurants.
The location was right in the center of Foxford, parking was easy, our room was comfortable, tea & coffee facilities were provided. Our bed was very comfortable. We could hear the river flow gently past the property.

Near the Foxford Mills and The Museum of Country Living and many more beautiful places. The food in the hotel was excellent both breakfast and dinner. The coffee as really good in the mornings and a good selection of wines for the evenings. The bathroom was outstanding. Extremely clean room. Lovely friendly staff.

The hosts were really fab people very welcoming and helpful. The property is in a quiet location near foxford, very spacious where there is also good parking and a lovely garden . The property has really good vibes and is well equipment for both short and long stays and has many interesting features we will return.
