IndiaCentrally located with ease of connectivity. Local Auto's and cab are easily available. 24X7 security. Security guards were alert with entry and exit of guests. They made extra efforts to arrange for Auto and Cab. Their in house restaurant is clean with good staff and excellent courteous staff. Although located on main road but there was no noise in the room. Rooms and linens were clean. The images of Hotel posted on Booking.com were exactly the same. Highly recommended for family and sole women traveler.

The town is small and hence reaching places was easy. However the climate was very unfriendly and the heat was sweltering .

Place felt safe even at 9.30PM.
Place felt safe even at 9.30PM. I did not encounter any rude auto or cab drivers. All were helpful. Although locals communicate only in Tamil but they try to understand and speak in English. Lot of stay options.

It's an excellent place for visiting ancient temples that symbolise the past glory of the city and its heritage. Kanchipuram traditionally known for its silk sarees particularly for marriage purchases.

Best for religious visit Hindu temples.
Best for religious visit Hindu temples. Temples are huge and requires half a day to rush around single temple.
Boards and writings are only in local languages and that is big problem.
Kanchi Mutt is a great place for effective meditation as it has two 'Samadhis' (shrine/tomb) of Hindu sants of Sankaracharya sect.

A vivid city with a lot of cultural attractions and some of the most important Hindu temples in India. Take rickshaw to move around, even for shorter distances, because walking on the street is not very comfortable because you walk between moving cars, rickshaws, scooters, busses etc. It's better to spend some money on transportation and to save some time and stress from street crossing. Negotiate the price in advance if necessary.

Great place with lot of culture and history.
Great place with lot of culture and history. The roads are crowded, traffic sense could be better. The crowd management at temples could be better. The city has excellent choices for Kanchipuram silk sarees and rich cultural experience.
