The location of resort is the best one can ask for, a 1 minute walk will take you to the best beach you would have ever seen. To top this, the place has the best host who would make you comfortable right from your arrival. The food here is amazing and has friendly staff. All in all, it was the best experience and would suggest this budget friendly place to everyone.

Staff and management were great! They worked hard to meet our needs. It was convenient to be able to order dinner and wait comfortably in our rooms till it was ready. The driver who took us to other beaches and back was very nice.

Wow, what an amazing place elephant and four wise men is. Some places you go and somehow all the guests just come together. Shivanker is the perfect host, warm hearted and hospitable. He has created a little backpacker haven. His whole set up is geared toward community. very quiet and peaceful setting, yet a lovely communal area that brings everyone together. I totally understand why everyone loves it. We shared food, made friends and had a wonderful few days that felt like home. He even gave me boyfriend fishing tips and he caught a big fish that we all ate together!

Whole team at reception, restaurant, pool and housekeeping was very helpful and super friendly. Hotel is definitely one of the best I have ever been with a great pool and tasty food!

It is difficult to get bike/ scooty on rent, if you reach...

It is difficult to get bike/ scooty on rent, if you reach there after 1 PM. You should carry a Two wheeler licence, If you have four wheel licenece, it does not help you to get two wheeler on rent. Carry different kind of sim cards. Auto services are good but does not allow more than 3 passangers, if you you are a family of 4, then hire cab or taxi or two wheeler.

Go to Lakshmanpur beach 2 for seeing the natural rock...

Go to Lakshmanpur beach 2 for seeing the natural rock formation. it is awesome. must visit. i did not take guide to go there, but if you want to take you may take a guide. he quoted rs 1500 in dec 2025. Go to Lakshmanpur beach 1 for sunset. it is worth it. Go to Sitapur beach for sunrise, its good. go to any beach including ramnagar to watch the stars in the sky, you may be amazed. its up to you if you want to hire a telescope, i did not so I cant comment, it may be worth it. i think they quoted rs 700 ( dec 2025). Hire a scooter. it makes your life easy. if you are with small children or aged parents obviously hire a cab. The bharatpur beach is the most unimpressive one to me. but it has a lot of eateries, you can walk from the jetty along the shore to bharatpur or take a road which is not necessary at all in my opinion. At the jetty there is a tibetian restaurant next to parking on the left as you walk from your boat to the island- it is very good. Food was prepared fresh and tasted very good.

Very peaceful island with lovely beaches.

Very peaceful island with lovely beaches. It is trickier to swim but the beaches are interesting with mangroves and jumping with sea shore life. Very nice local people and chilled out vibe Very small island so you can get round everywhere in a few days but nice place to stay for longer if you want to relax somewhere quiet.

One should not miss out Neil Island during their tour...

One should not miss out Neil Island during their tour planning. Though the neil island is very small as stretch from one side to another is just of 6.5 KMS but the beaches Laxmanpur Beach 1 & 2 are special attractions which one should not miss out.

It is a small island and can be explored in one day.

It is a small island and can be explored in one day. Two days would be just right to make the trip extremely comfortable. Water sports activities are limited and comparatively cheaper than Havelock for e.g. there is Scuba, glass bottom ride, jet ski, banana ride, speed boat ride only.

Beaches are beautiful, clean water, white sand.

Beaches are beautiful, clean water, white sand. Once can walk inside the sea for quite a distance. See-through water, few places you can see marine life without getting into scuba diving. Enjoy peaceful and tension free environment.
