The access code arrived a day in advance and worked perfectly. The place is different — but better! — than in the photos, with two perfectly separated areas for relaxing and sleeping. The heater allowed easy temperature control, which was fabulous, as some other places in Iceland seem to run their central heating at a permanent “boil yourself” setting. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, and large refrigerator, and even offered coffee for guests — which, as Colombians, we couldn’t appreciate more! It’s just a 12-minute drive from the nearest town and felt peaceful even though the place was packed with travelers. The washing machine was the crown jewel, since this stop was on day 5 of our 10-day trip — right when we needed a good laundry. It truly exceeded our expectations!

Everything about this property was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our host was attentive and helpful. The house had everything we could ask for and more. We would absolutely stay here again.
