This was our best stay while exploring Iceland: amazing hosts, quiet and clean rooms, super spacious dining area and kitchen, a separate huge common space with 2 pianos …and a jacuzzi in the evening on the roof between 2 mountains! Socializing and sharing tips about travel with the other guests. Nice breakfast in the morning and Paskahellir site with blueberry fields in late August just around the corner. Totally worth the trip off the ring road!!

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful newly renovated hotel on the coast, wish I could had stayed longer. Owners are very nice and the complimentary breakfast was a nice added bonus. The perfect place to stay in Eastern Iceland!

Cute little town with scenic walking/running tails. It has everything an authentic Icelandic town needs: a grocery store, gas station, cafe with decent coffee, swimming pool and lots of nature around.

We had a great stay at Hildibrand Apartment Hotel. The apartment was very spacious and equipped with all the necessary facilities. Its location close to the city made it easy to reach, and despite arriving late, the check-in process was smooth. The staff were responsive, even answering our call late at night. Brand new hotel in a very old house, that has all been renovated, wich is great except they forgot too put some soundproofing in the place. you hear everthing, we where really luck that the guests that stayed at the same time as us, they went really early to bed and the place was very quiet during the night :)

We arrived very late at the hotel. The reception was already closed, but fortunately there was a phone number provided for a lady who helped us get inside. Waiting for us inside was a spacious apartment that had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
