The owners were truly kind and attentive. Everything from the check-in to the breakfast to the goodbye was a charming and personalized experience. The view of Etna is spectacular, as well as the Ionian Sea. The breakfast was delicious and offered many options. I can't wait to return!

Betsy and Enzo are really good at hosting B&B. They are friendly, welcoming and very detail-oriented. The room was large, comfortable and well decorated. The breakfast was exceptional and the breakfast area was accessible for early or late snacks or tea/coffee. Milo is very close to mt Etna and on a clear day you can see the smoke billowing from the peak. It rained a lot while we were there ( March), no problem, a very nice Turkish bath is in the neighboring town and a local home chef provided cooking lessons in his home overlooking the Ionian Sea. We spent four nights and wished we could have spent four more. That good!

This is a beautiful country hotel situated in a perfect location and views of Mount Etna.The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable.The rooms were clean and well-maintained.The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Our room was spacious and serene, with lava-stone details, crisp linens, and views over citrus groves and the sea. Breakfast was outstanding—seasonal fruit, homemade cakes, local cheeses and honey—everything tasted genuinely fresh. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was a highlight: elegant but not fussy, with a superb Sicilian wine selection and staff who guided us perfectly. Throughout our stay, the team went out of their way to help with tastings and day trips; nothing felt scripted, just warm and effortless. The grounds are expansive and beautifully kept, perfect for slow morning walks or sunset cocktails. If you’re looking for a place that captures the essence of Etna—nature, flavor, and quiet luxury—this is it. We left rested, inspired, and already planning our return.

Nice and helpful personel and a lovely dog Bianca. View on Etna and the sea is stunning. They have the best white wine we ever tasted made from their own grapes. Dinner and breakfast are good, also their red wine collection is great. Beds were bit hard and pool was chilly, that was the only 'downside'. If you want to explore the Etna, ask Antonio about the tour from Francesco, worth every penny.

Great location for visiting Etna National Park.

Great location for visiting Etna National Park. Short distance from cablecar that takes you up the mountain; we recommend paying for the van ride to go up farther than the cablecar because that portion includes a guide who shows you interesting things about the volcano, including fumaroles and the Valle del Bove lava valley. (We found this activity to be very interesting and enjoyable, although expensive. Do Not Leave Any Valuables in your car in the cablecar parking lot.) The town is very small - one grocery store and only 1 restaurant, but it's a good one: The 4 Arches (Quattro Achi) - very popular, reservations recommended, but only open for dinner Monday to Friday, lunch and dinner Sat and Sunday. The climate is a lot cooler in Milo than on the coast -- a welcome change. The roads are usually narrow and at times extremely steep. Underfoot is all crunchy volcanic rock and ash. We went on a hike to find an ancient oak tree -- the Ilice di Carrinu.

What a beautiful property in such a beautiful little village near Etna. It was just what we needed as r&r after busy Taormina. We were supposed to climb Etna, and this would have been the perfect location to do that. The staff went above and beyond for us with making us feel welcome, and the breakfast was absolutely superb, made by themselves. We loved, loved, loved this place. Couldn’t recommend it anymore.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is beautiful, very clean, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The garden is spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers a breathtaking view, making it the perfect place to relax. The host is extremely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. We highly recommend this apartment and would definitely love to stay here again!
