We loved the island; so peaceful and beautiful. A different way to experience the Italian Lakes. Paolo, our host, made us so welcome. He is so proud of the island and has many recommendations to make your stay perfect. He also makes a delicious torte for breakfast. We used the local bus to visit the town by the shore, just a short ride away. Here there were choices of restaurants and stunning views of the lake.

Perfect location next to the lake. Very close to the Ferry terminal. The room is very neat ( cleaned every day and towels changed), a window and a balcony overlooking the lake. The food is amazing. Breakfast is sumptuous with home grown fruits, home made cakes and marmalades. They use olive oil of their own production. Nicola and the staff (family members) are very generous and kind. The best accommodation to make you want to come again n again.

A super location on a 'hideaway' island. This hotel was the highlight of our touring holiday in Italy. The bar and the rooftop restaurant were perfect.

The hotel was clean and quiet, we slept wonderfully. The hotel is and looks old (in my opinion it gives it charm), but there is no compromise in comfort. The owner is very friendly and the breakfast was great.

Great breakfast, nice place, very good staff

The breakfast buffet was fabulous . From the beautiful pastry table ,to the hot dishes ,to the meat and cheese trays and then the espresso and coffee machine it was all beautifully presented and delicious. The staff was helpful if there was anything else needed. The pool and hot tub with views of the lake were paradise as was the hotel location in one of the most beautiful settings in the world .

The hotel is nicely located very close to the train station and the pier is just a few minutes walking. Also there is a pharmacy and a supermarket a few blocks away. The facilities were nice and clean. The breakfast was great, with both savoury and sweet options. The highlight of the trip were the managers, which are also the owners, as this is a family run hotel. They were helpful, kind and attentive to our needs, always with a smile and great suggestions on what to do in town or close by areas.

Beautiful location in the mountains high up over a lake. One can just watch things around or go for a proper hike. We had a room with nice garden view and it was comfortable. Great value for money. But another reason why we came there was the restaurant. And it was an excellent choice. Rustic, yes, but the food delicious and copious. We took tasting menu and it was perfect tasting of local wild and mushrooms and cold cuts. The house wine was also very competitive and just good.
