Perledo is very isolated, especially the further up you stay

Perledo is very isolated, especially the further up you stay The buses only run every 2 hours so if you miss it (or it arrives early which is possible) you will be stuck Taxis are reluctant to drive to Perledo due to the isolated location (if they drive you up, they know they will not have a passenger coming down & vice-versa) Taxis are $32E if you can find one...most will not respond to a pick up request Very limited food options, especially the higher you stay Night bus is free but not convenient (if starting in Perledo, could take 40 min to pick you up. If starting in Varenna, may not take you until more passengers going to Perledo are present)

Our house was between Varenna and Bellano.

Our house was between Varenna and Bellano. Perledo is a litlle village up to the mountain, so if you would like to go out you find the nearest shops and restaurants in Bellano, which is a charming little town by the lake. Milano is one hour train trip from Bellano, so this is a good location the discover the city.

The apartment was comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. The owner was really lovely and explained everything that we needed to know about the apartment and local facilities. The 2 double bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen had all the equipment that you would need to cook a meal, although there are local restaurants in easy walking distance. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony and look at the wonderful views of Lake Como.

A nice quite place to walk around in the montain / hills, to wonder far from the noise of too many turists. The view of the lake is breathtaken. People in the town are very kind. With teenegers or without, a nice place to visit at least a couple of days.

Perledo has amazing views of the lake and has everything you need for a couple of days - shop, bar & restaurant. We loved our stay here - a great base from which to visit the lake but escape the other tourists.

I had a great stay at this property.

I had a great stay at this property. The view was absolutely stunning – one of the highlights of the trip! The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The Jacuzzi was a real treat and added a special touch to the experience. The only downside was the shower, which could have been cleaner. Overall, a lovely place to relax with just a small area for improvement.

The apartment has one of the best views of the lake! Situated in a quaint town of Perledo, 4 mins drive away from Castello di Vezio and about 10 mins drive away from beautiful Varenna. The terrace is the highlight where you can chill with a vino and take in the breathtaking views of Lake Como. La Dolce Vita.

We booked the hotel in a rush, the owner was so kind to open the room for us although it’s booked by his friend already. The view is fantastic and the owner was very pleasant. Although it’s late and all Pizza delivery were closed, he drove us to town to buy food. It’s a good choice to live here.

The hotel is so lovely and quiet. Rita picked us from train station and we spent lovely time there. The walk trail to city is a little bit steep but it is not far away from city center so it was fine for us. Food was delicious and we spent great time there.
