Super soft and comfy bed, very quiet, right next to Bus and Train Stations.

Very clean and easy to get to. The Sasebo train and bus stations are literally across the street. Clean premises, plenty of available amenities.

The location was very convenient, just a few steps to the Sasebo station. It has amenities in the first floor so you don’t need to buy extra things. The breakfast was very good. Also, it was luggage storage even before the check in or after it.

Great value for money.. cheapest among all hotels near huis ten bosch. Just across the theme park. Free use of onsen 😊

Lots of space, rooms have an American look, which was probably intentional for it's regular demographic..

The breakfast was excellent. All the staff at the Smile Hotel Sasebo was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was a nice treat. Thank you to the front desk for allowing me to use the iron and ironing board. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit Sasebo. Thank you making my stay a memorable one. Probably the best view in Sasebo. Rooms have a sweeping vista of the city and harbor from their spot on top of the big hill north of town. Dinner and breakfast buffet are outstanding.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Den Haag! A shuttle bus came to take us to the hotel from the designated parking lot. We were greeted by friendly staff who speak both English and Japanese, and we were charmed by the festive decorations throughout the hotel. We received complimentary onsen vouchers and a shuttle schedule, although we didn’t end up using them. We arrived on the last night of New Year’s fireworks, and the view from the harbor view room was spectacular! Our party also had a loft room. The fireworks were not visible but the water view was still surprisingly good. We also enjoyed the nightstand radio feature! I suggest making a reservation for the hotel buffet, as it was completely booked at dinner time. We were able to eat at the yakitori takeout restaurant in the harbor area instead; Red Lobster is also accessible without paying park admission. There was a short wait for the breakfast buffet, but it was worth it. There was wonderful variety and I was able to find out allergen information on the website in advance. A few baby food items are also available! I expected the Den Haag might be dated and possibly underwhelming, but our whole group was impressed by the hospitality, vintage ambience, food, and views. We would love to stay here again.

Breakfast is great. I especially appreciate the male staff who help us check in, as it was after the check in time when we arrive but he had waited to assist our check in. Unfortunately, we had forgoten to ask for his name. Thank you.
