There are so many food options that are well-priced so one will never go hungry. It’s a great place to explore and enjoy the Malay culture for sure. Getting around using the Grab app is inexpensive and extremely easy to use; it offers what Uber does, but more.

Here are some recommendations based on my recent trip: 🥾 1. Experience Nature at Gunung Lambak If you enjoy outdoor activities, start your day at Gunung Lambak. The trails are beginner-friendly, and the hike offers a refreshing nature experience surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. ☕ 2. Relax at The Hill & Heal Cafe Not into hiking? No worries! Head to The Hill & Heal Cafe instead. Enjoy a cup of coffee while surrounded by nature. The café overlooks a small river, and if you're lucky, you might even spot some monkeys nearby. 🍛 3. Enjoy Authentic Local Food For lunch, visit Bawah Kolong Restaurant for authentic Malay cuisine in a traditional kampung-style setting. If you're lucky, you may find a Chinese uncle selling freshly harvested fruits at very reasonable prices—much cheaper than what I usually see in Kuala Lumpur! Another great option is Kluang Asam Pedas if you're craving spicy and flavourful local dishes. ☕ 4. Have Breakfast at Kluang Railway Coffee A trip to Kluang wouldn't be complete without visiting the iconic Kluang Railway Coffee, established in 1939. Be sure to arrive early, as the queue can get very long, especially on weekends and public holidays. 🌃 5. Night Activities Kluang is generally quiet at night. You can take a leisurely walk around the Kluang Street Art area for some photos or catch a movie at Kluang Mall if you're looking for something relaxing to do. Overall, Kluang is an underrated destination that offers good food, nature, and a slower pace of life. Even during the school holidays and festive season, I found it peaceful and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend escape.

Nice place. Good durians and fruits. The food is authentic and tasty. Kluang rail coffee restaurant is nice. The toast all are very good. Also the neighborhood several small shops which sell good items. My wife enjoy the shopping of RM2.40 items in ECO shop. Overall nice place.

Kluang is my hometown. I was visiting friends & family. I ate in numerous Food Courts . I had family providing transport for me. I would stay in another hotel for my next trip. My favourite places were the Coffee Shops, the old town and the Tamans. The Old buildings have sodium lights illuminating them at night, but they seem to have 'over-done' the lights. Less lights would have been better. It's a pity that the Diamond Jubilee Hall is still missing a Clock in it's tower even after 57+ years. Have the residents & the local council of Kluang simply over-looked this rather embarrassing situation?

City was a bit under developed. Places wasn't clean in some canal areas. People here were very friendly though. Met a group of very kind people along the way. Food in some restaurants and coffee shop were good. Beverages needs to improve. Gunung Lambak was a bit eerie especially during raining seasons! Not very walkable and certain areas looked dangerous. Slippery especially during raining. Slope was a bit high. Bridge seems to be about rundown. Nice massage places in kluang with nice people. More healthy food could be discover here in Kluang. Some places sell unhealthy food and beverages.
