The rooms were spacious, comfortable and private which made my stay perfect. The bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. There was no breakfast at the hotel, however, the venue was central of all convenient stores along with restaurants within walking distance. The beds were comfortable too; this allowed me to get more rest in peace and feel more rejuvenated. The venue provides a pool directly outside the room which was therapeutic. Parking was conveniently outside my room and. the venue provides a laundry facility. Just like a home away from home I would recommend this beautiful haven to anyone who prefers comfort.

Exceptional accommodation - a lot of thought and care has gone into making the stay sensational. The space is modern with smart and attractive furnishings and decor. Gumnut House was the most comfortable and warmest accommodation we stayed in during our trip. Unfortunately, we encountered stormy weather and our flights were repeatedly cancelled. When I thought we could not continue our trip, I contacted Maryann. She did not hesitate to cancel our reservation for free, which was very kind! Finally, we caught up with our travel plans and rebooked Gumnut House. Maryann and Barry were very friendly and welcoming, their house was very clean and the garden was very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and relaxed. And the breakfast prepared by Maryann was very rich. Thank you very much!

Very comfortable and clean. Close to central city and with in walking distance of cafes shopping and tourist attractions.. Whanganui is a great city to visit. Amazing art and crafts. We will be back.
