A wonderful stay – again! This was my second visit to the cottage, and it was just as fantastic as the first time. Everything about the place feels cosy and warm, making it a perfect retreat. The location is spot-on – peaceful yet convenient – and the hosts are truly welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. One of the real highlights is the breakfast – a massive bonus that sets this place apart. It’s clear a lot of care and thought goes into every detail, and it shows. I’ll definitely be back again. Location was excellent, right downtown in historic Clyde. Owners’ daughter was lovely, and very helpful with travel advice.

Very cozy little guest house complete with a bedroom and living area. Elaine, our host is a good communicator. She needed to leave so we never met her, but she kept us informed and we were able to successfully follow her instructions and get in. The laundry was such a wonderful gift mid-trip. we used the washer to wash our clothes then hung them on the line to dry. By dark they were ready to bring in and repack. The refrigerator was packed with everything we needed to make breakfast including some thoughtful chocolates. The room was super quiet. We are walking the central otago rail trail and her home is strategically placed just at the beginning of the trail.
