My partner and I feel so fortunate to have spent 9 nights in this delightful country home. Our hosts made sure our stay was a lovely experience. The house is super clean, large and comfortable, beautifully decorated with both vintage and modern touches. We really enjoyed the two easy-chairs for example. The whole house (and especially the kitchen) has many large windows offering beautiful views onto the garden and surrounding countryside. It's so peaceful and there are many types of birds, plus bunnies, sheep and cows in the fields nearby giving that lovely farm feel. It's a pleasant drive to Rotorua and Hobbiton and there's a blueberry farm just a 10 minute drive away offering real fruit ice cream. The kitchen is really well equipped. Everything was great. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Had more facilities than I first thought. Really close to food options if looking for quick bites to eat. They are getting a restaurant of their own eventually. Would highly recommend staying.
