Very nice peaceful stay, nice rural setting well equipped kitchenette. Note to Historic Way walkers: make sure you call ahead if you think you’ll be early. I saw from earlier reviews that they live on the property but they couldn’t come let me in for an hour because they were elsewhere. Location about 10 minutes out of town so shop and eat before you walk here.

Quinta Paraiso is a magical place, beautiful garden, very nice apartment and cosy outdoor kitchen where you can make coffee and prepare food. I enjoyed yoga surrounded by singing birds and with views of the beautiful garden full of flowers. So much peace, perfect place to unwind. The host was super friendly and I felt very welcome. I hope to come back with my family in the future!

The owner was exceptionally pleasant. She made me an early breakfast and even squeezed some carrot juice! The room was very cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is right on the Fishermen's Trail, so it's very convenient for hikers to catch their breath. Laundry services are provided.

Amazing Place! We have travelled to many places and this hotel gave us the best experience ever. From the serene & nature landscapes to the most kind and thoughtfull staff. We are members of an hotel chain and we are really happy to chose this hotel instead for this trip. The farm to table concept is very well managed. Breakfast has everything we wanted. The Sauna and ice bath are in pristine conditions. The rooms are very clean and decorated.

Unfortunately, we only stayed 4 nights in this beautiful oasis of tranquility. Every last detail was perfect, the place is even nicer than on the pictures and we were welcomed and looked after with great hospitality. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside. Located just a short drive from some of the nicest beaches in Portugal and also some great culinary offers in the near by towns and villages.

Place that you can't show with a photos, here you have to be present to enjoy and see the views and surroundings. The personal welcome of the hosts and their presence next to you is more than a hotel. The breakfast is worthy of a Michelin star - the presentation, the place with a view and a tasteful experience Each hotel room is perfectly thought out down to the smallest detail ❤️

We were there for the Wednesday dinner and were blown away with the sense of community that Esmee and Laurens have created there and the food was amazing! They were very welcoming and it’s inspiring seeing them create such an amazing self sustaining property. We loved staying here and will stay again when we are back in Portugal
