Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The apartment was finished to an exceptionally high standard, with fantastic facilities and superb internet. Having a dedicated office space was invaluable as I work remotely, and the swimming pools plus the wide breakfast selection made the experience even better. I would recommend The Oasis Residence without hesitation, especially for families. The staff were outstanding, consistently going the extra mile and truly enhancing our stay. A special mention goes to Joseph, who drove my wife and daughter with exceptional care while I was working. He is an incredibly safe and reliable driver, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing transport in the evenings, when taxis or tuk‑tuks can be difficult to find.

The staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way for you. The rooms are nice and the property is beautiful. The location is a little less central than other spots in Jambiani so if you’re looking for a quieter spot this is a great option. It’s walking distance to all of the other spots you’d want to go in Jambiani. It’s a beachfront property with fewer people on the beach and not many people trying to sell anything. The food in the restaurant is great. There are monkeys on the property which is fun.

Alma Butique Hotel is an excellent place for people who want to detox and relax in a calm environment. Hotel is small (around 30 guests maximum; we benefitted even from the smaller presence) and with its beautiful garden guarantees privacy. It was open in 2022 so rooms have a brand new tasteful (boho style) equipment. The polite and kind houskeeping ensured that rooms an teracces were clean, drinking water supplied regularly (in big glass bottles) and we had a choice of teas (we could prepare them having a kettle) as well as coffee and coffee machine. The joint pool (we had also a small private one) allows swimming during low tide. Breakfasts were very good, notably as concerns warm dishes from the menu, prepared upon our requests. We loved having long breakfasts followed with a coffee at the terrace while enjoying the beatiful view at the garden and ocean with a gentle and warm breeze. The staff was very nice and always helpful (notably as concerns organizing excursions and transfer). One of us benefitted from spa (excellent masagge!).

Everything really, well located right on the beach. Beautiful space, feels like a boutique hotel. It is small & intimate, boasting about 7 villas I think meaning there’s never more than 7 groups of people. The space is cozy, rustic and modern all at once. We loved the accommodation in a beautiful garden setting. Comfortable cottage with aircon and small kitchen. Lovely breakfast nook under a bedouin in garden. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. We had a delicious dinner cooked by the hosts. We should’ve stayed a day longer. Jambiane is a lovely beach town. We went snorkeling in the am and sailing in the afternoon on a wooden sail boat. Jambiane snorkeling and beach restaurants are also the most affordable in Zanzibar thus far.

What I loved most was how kind the staff is.

What I loved most was how kind the staff is. Mostafa made sure the meals were served well. I saw him planning everything…lol. The spa experience also, 10/10. The shows at night were interesting. The gym is also decent but they can improve it for sure. The towel station is far from the main swimming pool. I wished there was one closer instead of going all the way near the reception.

I loved Jambiani .... a small & friendly village....perfect for quiet holiday seekers! Mango Resort was the best place for me for accommodation! The village people were fun & friendly. It is much less busy than Paje. Which was perfect for me. It is very easy to get about walking or on Tuk Tuk...very safe even to walk at night in my opinion. The Jetty Cafe was a lovely little place too, a short walk from Mango Resort heading towards Paje. Serving snacks & drinks etc.

It's a great area with lots of restaurants, paje beach is just 10mins away. you can reach shops for essentials in 10-15mins. activities like scuba diving, snorkeling , dolphin watching are just 45mins away. Jambiani is perfect when visiting with family.

Location is great, along the most quiet beach area of Jambiani. Pool areas were cool. Staff were approachable and friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was among the best we had across 4 areas of Zanzibar - good portion sizes. When we complained about several issues, they were quick to apologise and provided us with a complimentary floating breakfast in the pool and a free boat trip which was really enjoyable.

This is a perfect boutique hotel on the beach in Jambiani a lovely spot in the south east of Zanzibar. The hosts are very welcoming and inforrmative. The staff lovely and friendly. The room has a terrace right next to the beach. The pool is beautiful as well as the surrounding area where one can relax with a cocktail. The food was very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The location in relation to the beach is good since the hotel faces the beach. The area is little developed (Jambiani) from a tourist point of view. The receptionist (man) helped us do all the activities we had planned. The hotel is not big but it has what you need.
