Hotel Club Dongwe has an excellent location and a beautiful jetty. We enjoyed swimming and snorkelling. It also has a magnificent pool. The staff are very professional and friendly. We would like to visit Hotel Club Dongwe again in the future.

I was surprised when we arrived, I didn't realise the property was not on the beach and that it did not have a restaurant or beach access - this bothered me. The way to the beach was through another property. However, the apartment is comfortable. Ours was facing the beach which was quite nice, the bedrooms were very comfortable - the balcony overlooking the water was very nice to hang on and I can't say that I have any complaints. I liked the aesthetics of the apartment, simple, yet functional.

Host was really responsible. Room is clean. Interior is beautifully designed. We loved our personal terrace. It was nice to have a breakfast there. Shared kitchen is fully equipped. Few steps from white sand beach with amazing views. BTW Village is too small. Too few restaurants. There are no supermarkets at all. The closest one is in Paje. This is perfect place for short stay in that part of island. I would definitely come beck to this calm place for few days.

Our accommodation was great. it was between Paje and Bwejuu...

Our accommodation was great. it was between Paje and Bwejuu , in Dongwe, so if you wanted anything in town, you needed to get a taxi and it was a 15 min ride to either. This suited us well, and at low tide you could walk on the beach to either which was great. Also having previously been in Nungwi where it is quite busy , it was nice to only have the occasionally beach seller trying to sell you their wares.

A clean and well kept property.

A clean and well kept property. The staff are amazing and very helpful. A clean and well maintained pool. A very good place if you are looking for time off from the world's noises and stressful environment.

I loved everything but to name a few: the stunning beach that even has a walkway into the ocean, the hotel staff’s attention to guest, the gym, the location, the spa and overall the smell of flowers/plants all over the resort. The resort has a charm that all those large hotels (that are so impersonal) miss out on. There was always plenty of food so even the pickiest eater can find something. There is entertainment most of the night and twice a week there is massai dinner/entertainment.

We had an incredible stay! The staff was wonderful, attentive, and very friendly. The place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The landscapes and the location of the hotel are idyllic and beautiful. I highly recommend this accommodation; we will never forget our stay here. The food was delicious, and we felt right at home. I chose this place for our honeymoon and it was the best decision! Very comfortable and clean room. Really friendly staff and personal service - they were very helpful. The location is great - on the beach, the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend to friends and we will stay again if we are back in Zanzibar.

Large room with some nice decorative touches Great visual and sound effect of the high tide hitting the sea wall. To be fair I probably would have rated this hotel a bit higher if we hadn't stayed at such an excellent boutique hotel for 3 nights prior to this one.
