Everything about the property was just great. The scenery was soul soothing and the actual property, staff and facilities were exceptional. The location is a 17 minute beautiful and scenic drive to town to get things you might need. The people are kind, accommodating and heartwarming. I will definitely be going back next year.

The tranquility, being in nature and far away from the city life, this place offers that and more. We had an amazing time with my family. We love Rockwood Lodges, it was not our first time at the property and we are definitely coming back.

The location was great, with lovely views of the forest and scenery. Overall, the place was clean and the fireplace was a great bonus given that it rained most of the time and was cold. The facilities were functional and extras (tea, coffee, condiments) were provided. Our hosts were lovely, and promptly fixed a clog drain when informed.

The rooms were very nice and clean. The beds were excellent and so were the pillows. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was brilliant. We also had dinner and that was lovely. Our main reason for staying over was to play golf and a halfway house on route to Umhlanga

We had a delightful room with our own fireplace. Pefectly stocked each day with firewood, kindling and starter Lovely rusks with tea / coffee. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. A HUGE thank you to Clinton, Gail and the whole Halliwell team. No breakfast included. Coffee /tea station fully equipped was available with fresh milk in fridge. Our hosts was fantastic and welcomed us. The cottage was beautiful and looked exactly what the images showed. Super clean and had everything we needed. Location was perfect and close to our business. All good, and 100% would recommend staying here. We hope to stay there again!
