House is lovely, clean and with all facilities. Hosts are extremely kind and accommodating. A quick ride to the adjacent town and you can find everything needed in terms of food, supplies.

1. Location, because it has a super nice view to enjoy throughout the day. 2. Facilities like Jacuzzi and pool makes more enjoyable. 3. Nice BBQ setup to make stay more comfortable.

We have just returned from a fabulous 2 weeks at Casa Emilia. A finca set up in the mountains in the beautiful village of Competa. Breathtaking views, you can hear a pin drop. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind away from busy lives. The finca is a lovely space inside with a shaded outside patio area where we spent most evenings. The pool and garden area are just beautiful. Sunsets to die for. The lovely village of competa is a short walk away, very steep hills as it is set on the mountain side, but we enjoyed the walk. Some lovely restaurants and bars in the village itself. The finca is very well stocked, had everything we needed. Communication with hosts and guest services was very good.

It's peaceful and beautiful. For us, this was the best holiday that we ever had. The place was very charming and clean and ideal for a family. The pool was well-maintained and we spent most of our time around it. Would definitely recommend it.

10/10 experience at La Montsiña! From the first correspondence with Montserrat, the host, I knew it would be a great stay. She was warm, welcoming and communicative, and she even sent us a list of recommendations for the area. It felt like we were staying in a friend's house versus a cold business transaction and that added to our experience. When we arrived, it was perfectly clean for us (and I do not say this lightly, as we had just left a highly rated Airbnb with cobwebs and hairs in the drawers). The entire house was thoughtfully renovated and you could feel the peaceful energy in the space. Most important to me is always the kitchen and this kitchen was fully stocked, so I was able to cook plenty of meals for my family over the six days that we stayed there. The kitchen supplies were far better quality than previous short term rentals too. There were games for our kids to play, plenty of towels, cleaning supplies for us to keep it tidy, a few pantry essentials and a sweet basket of snacks greeting us upon arrival. And y'all-- the rooftop at sunset was a dream! My husband works remotely via his laptop and he chose the rooftop as his workspace, and we'd eat up there as a family too. I could go on and on. It was truly a beautiful space where we could be comfortable staying for quite some time. The location was also great, as we were able to park very close and then everything we needed was within a few blocks of each other. There were multiple supermarkets, restaurants, etc that we could get to within a 4 minute walk. Competa is beautiful and we even found some hiking spots nearby, plus we were able to visit the beach several times (we chose Nerja, a 35 min drive).
