Great little spot in the Bastide area of Carcassonne. The classic building along a narrow local street with everything hidden behind an old wooden door. Our apartment was one flight of stairs up and a good size for 2. Easy walk to centre of town for shops and supplies to use in the apartment's little kitchen. Basic supplies of milk, cereal, jams, youghurt, juice, to make a good breakfast. Lila is prompt with communicating and keeping in touch with her remotely via Whatsapp or messages in Booking.com. She can provide a wealth of information about the area, tours, history etc - just ask her. The apartment is immaculate and comfortable. Washer dryer in the garage (as you enter from the street), really handy for us as we were travelling for a number weeks. But don't get stuck cooking in the apartment all the time - there are some wonderful local cafes and bistrots in the old town and you see the locals there. Definitely try at least one cassoulet. You really can walk everywhere and even up to the medieval citael, La Cité. And 10 minutes or so to the station if you want to head somewhere for a day trip, such as Toulouse.

Very central location within the old medieval city walls. It was close to the historic sights and a nice stroll to "La Bastide" via Pont Vieux. The host was easy to reach and ready to answer any questions. The apartment comfortable fitted four with comfy beds and aircondition. The spa in the garden was a plus as well!

A wonderful stay in an absolutely beautiful accommodation. Our family loved it here. It was peaceful, very clean, beautifully decorated and lots of fun. Breakfast was better than we could have imagined and the hosts were delightful. We will definitely stay again!
