United KingdomThe cottage was so quiet and comfortable. I felt completely safe there and it was lovely to meet Bridget and Ollie Dog. I couldn't have felt more welcomed.
Everything was so clean and I had all the utensils I needed. A lovely big bathroom as well.
After a day of VERY WET & MUDDY mountain bike riding in the Forest of Dean, it was wonderful to come back and be able to clean up and relax in such a cosy space.
Plenty of room for my car on the drive and directly outside the front door - perfect given the rain we had that weekend! Bridget even said I could bring my e-bike in to charge it up. Nothing felt like a big deal so I was completely relaxed.
The directions given before I arrived helped immensely.

This cottage is so lovely. It has everything you need its like home from home.. So warm and cosy and super clean. We were so sad to leave and would highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly go back.

The location was perfect, the atmosphere out of this world, an idyllic attractive country cottage, with hedge row flowers to greet us along with a small dish of chocolates. We will book again soon.

It was the perfect little haven. Life is been very busy and whilst I was away technically for work I found this lovely little cottage well I say little it was on two floors, ample space surround by lush countryside. Greeted by two adorable doggos and evening birdsong. There is a pub down the road but I chose to go but some food from a supermarket about 15 minutes away and just relax, cooking and enjoying the peace. I will definitely be coming back to spend a bit more time to explore the local walks

The cottage was private and secluded in the countryside,Our host was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We loved our stay and Ollie the dog was lovely. We loved the area there is so much to see and visit. We were even busy visiting Castles and Abbeys in the rain.

Located about a mile into the countryside outside of Monmouth. 20 minutes from Ross and 1 hour from Hay. We stayed in Wood cottage which is for 3 people and has a lovely log burner fire. You can buy wood for £10 a basket from host. Very comfy beds and duvets.
