Cottages in Portimão

Location was perfect , central but quiet ! Property was very spacious and the table tennis table was an extra bonus !

The property was wonderful –– tucked right into the heart of the neighborhood and surrounded by a bunch of restaurants that I would highly recommend. It was a really wonderful home base for exploring so much of the Algarve. Marco, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful and an exceptional host who went above and beyond to accommodate me. The parking lot for the property is well within walking distance, the wifi was reliable, the space itself was homey, and the washing machine was really nice after two weeks of travel. I wish I were able to enjoy the balcony more in the mornings. Would absolutely recommend!

Villa was as expected from the pictures if not better, all the rooms were very spacious and every room had an ensuite except for the bunk bed room but there was a family bathroom that room could use so great for everyone to have their own space. Location was so close to Alvor and Rocha literally minutes in the car and you can walk to a beach too. Nelson was great at letting us in and was very friendly and polite as he did the maintenance twice a week but was very respectful and always checked with us if he could do the gardening/ pool. Host and Nelson was amazing at sorting two cots for us as we had two young boys with us and they also offered to sort us an extra high chair but the toddle was happy with their seating. Couldn't recommend more for families or groups of friends. Thanks so much for having us.

The place was gorgeous, modern and clean and the rooms on the main floor had great soundproofing.

Casa Algarvia is not just a holiday place, it's home far from home! From the very first moment, this house made us feel held and welcomed. Perfectly located un the heart of the town and with a rooftop where you can enjoy breakfast looking out at the roofs of Portimão. This view, with the light changing colors on the tiles, felt quietly magical — the kind of view that makes you slow down and simply be. The house itself is spacious, cozy, totally equipped and full of soul, with everything you need to feel truly comfortable, not like a guest, but like someone who belongs there. Every corner feels lived in with care. And then there is Caria. Her kindness is something special and rare. Always attentive, gentle, and genuinely warm, the kind of host who doesn’t just give you keys, but gives you a sense of trust and calm. You feel looked after in the most natural way. She is always there to take care of you and your stay but also to give you precious suggestions that can make you really live the Algarve life! This place carries a beautiful energy, one of warmth, simplicity, and quiet joy. Leaving Casa Algarvia and Caria felt a bit like leaving a friend. We will carry this stay with us, and we come back for sure!

Lovely comfortable, modern furnishing. Lots of space. Quiet location. Large outdoor dining with massive parasol. Delighted to have air con. Three minute walk to the pool where we always found a sun lounger. Short walk to the supermarket.
