Cottages in Franschhoek

Very peaceful location. The place was kept very clean and the service was fantastic. Absolutely loved the verandas, with amazing views over the mountain.

Loved that the Manor house only had few rooms. ,so not much “traffic”.We had a beautiful suite on the first floor. Loved having our breakfasts outside (except for rainy last morning) choices were almost too much for us elderly types with decreasing appetite.Martha and her crew ran a smooth running organization while taking care of us. It was nice to be in one place for more than 1 night and completely relax.

Most incredible views and the place was beyond gorgeous. Definitely going back next year to experience it in a different season.

Everything was amazing! Just the pool was freezing so we didnt swim much! But otherwise it was really really nice

The breakfast was so delicious, and the service was very professional and friendly. The property was so nice to walk around. The fireplace in the room was such a wonderful addition to make the room even cozier. The wines from Holden Manz vineyard were sublime. We had a quiet and perfect stay!

Our stay at Klein Champagne was absolutely lovely. The grounds were very beautiful and peaceful. Great for sleeping and relaxing. I took a few walks and enjoyed the rose garden, sunset reflecting on the mountains, the horses, the vines, and most of all the bird life eating and playing around the pond. There are some great amenities in the grounds as well, such as the honesty bar, a community lounge area, and the pool. Unfortunately we were so busy during our time in franschoek that we didn't get to use the pool. But it looked very relaxing and is a great spot for tanning and getting a refresh. All the rooms are configured around the pool, so it's very convenient to get to. Our room was a studio sort of room, with a large entry, living room, and bathroom downstairs and the bedroom, desk and an extra upstairs. There was plenty of closet space and areas to put your things. It was so spacious and comfortable. It was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable and soft, the pillows divine, and the view from the bedroom was beautiful and calming. I thoroughly enjoyed the homemade cooked to order breakfasts. I enjoyed the fruit, pastries and warm meals as well. We made use of the honesty bar and really liked the wine on the estate too. It was very good. The hotel is very convenient to town and various other estates. You can walk to town if you want to. It's literally a 3 minute drive to town.

Simply serene as I hoped. Emotionally charged.

A beautiful place tucked into the orchard, a beautifully decorated cottage. I only wish I had more days to fully explore and enjoy it

The location was perfect and the view was spectacular. We stayed in the Goose cottage and was everything and more. We would highly recommend this place! Host and staff were friendly and amazing too!

Excellent locations very close to good restaurants and cafes, and to many wineries.
