Such a lovely cozy little cottage and the fireplace was already going when we got there which we really appreciated as it was FREEZING outside. Also appreciated the little tray with cheese sticks, olives, etc

Beautifully decorated cottages, incredible spa facilities, welcoming hosts, cozy fireplaces (with plenty wood), friendly dogs, beautiful lawns and all right on the doorstep of the charming town of Wellington and surrounding wine farms!
Our group of friends had a fantastic time on this property and we highly recommend it to all.

The cabin is in lovely farm like surroundings. When we arrived it was freezing cold outside but the inside fireplace quickly warmed the entire cabin. We loved the hot tub, barbeque area, decorations and appliances. Attention to detail, we had everything we needed, we loved our one night stay and will definitely be back.
Lize, our hostess went out of her way to supply us with important personals that we forgot to bring.

The cottage had a cozy, quirky feel to it. Loved the large fireplace, which as it was pretty cold was a life saver. Close to the beach. Felt very safe. Beautiful comfortable furnishings. One bed had electric blanket, which was helpful in the cold. Amazing shower and bath. Very friendly and quick service from all staff. Easy to find.

The hosts, Jaco and Amore, communicated well from the start of the booking process until we checked out. Jaco was friendly and welcoming,the house looks even better in-person and it has everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Needless to say the cottage was very clean and tidy, the decor was tastefully done, and the braai area and indoor fireplace added to the cosy ambiance, especially on an icy, cold winter's night.
A definite new favourite in Yzerfontein. Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you :)

Our cottage was modern and well considered, the kitchen had everything we needed. Being there during winter it was very cold outside but with the little fireplace kept the cabin lovely and cosy. We had amazing views of the mountains and river. The hot tub was absolutely fabulous.

The cottage is situated just outside town in beautiful surroundings. Yet it was close enough to the town centre which makes its location very convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the living space was great. There is also a fireplace in the patio, which made for cosy evenings.
The check-in and out process was smooth and easy.

We loved the woodfired turkish bath. The indoor braai was great in the cold weather and the fire place made the cottage so cosy and warm. We enjoyed the games in front of the fireplace. The hosts were so friendly and caring at all times. Beautiful decor inside the cottage and had everything we needed. It was so peaceful and have beautiful views of the mountains. Very comfy bed. Its a hidden gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joubertsdal. The stunning view from the cottage, along with the braai area, the fire hot tub, and the fireplace inside, made this an exceptional getaway. The cottage was clean, and everything was provided as expected. The firewood was a bonus. Petro, our host, went out of her way to make our stay unforgettable.
