Fantastic view of the mountains with horses roaming in the background, great bed for firmness, quality pillows, the ability to vary the warmth of the bed, and well equipped shared amenities and a very good bathroom arrangement.

Although the apartment wasn’t so big, you may find everything you need in it. It was clean and with amazing sea view.

It’s very roomy. The floor in bathroom and living room is heated. Nice sofa. Beds are comfortable. There is a washing machine and a dryer combo.

Incredibly cozy, stylish and clean. There is everything you need during your stay. Super easy check in and check out. Great views and perfect windows for watching Aurora! Hot tube is just perfect! 100% recommend!

The location is very nice and the cottage was well equipped. The owner lives in the same yard and he is very nice. There are 2 very cute dogs on the property.

Staying on an Icelandic Horse Farm is such a once in a lifetime experience as someone from Chicago. We had an incredible time walking around the farm, visiting with the curious horses, and taking in the surreal views. The beds and accommodations were comfortable. Both Daniel and Elsa were very friendly and helpful.

My stay at Stóra-Ásgeirsá Horse Farm was an absolute treasure, largely due to the exceptional host, Magnus. The highlight of my time there was undoubtedly Magnus's hot tub, which offered a stunning view of a waterfall. The juxtaposition of the warm water against the backdrop of nature's beauty created an experience that was both relaxing and invigorating. Another standout feature of the farm was the bar overseen by Magnus himself. It was here that I had the pleasure of interacting with Magnus's family, sharing stories and laughter. The welcoming atmosphere prompted Magnus to pick up his guitar, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. The camaraderie and music turned the night into a truly memorable experience. Participating in the Viking Thunder Clap with Magnus's father and the rest of the family was one of the most remarkable moments of my stay. This cultural connection added a layer of authenticity that made me feel like a part of the Icelandic tradition, creating a unique bond that transcended language and nationality. In the grand tapestry of our unforgettable experience at Stóra-Ásgeirsá Horse Farm, my daughter's horse riding adventure added a vibrant and colorful thread. The beauty of the landscape, the warmth of the hospitality, the camaraderie of the bar evenings, and the authenticity of the Icelandic traditions all came together to create a stay that exceeded all expectations.
