The room is modern, large and clean, wifi worked well and the showers had great water pressure. Bed was also very large and comfortable. The provided breakfast had a good spread too.

Exceptional service from arrival to departure. We had 3 fantastic days at the hotel, all the staff are really professional and the facilities are amazing - huge grounds to explore plus a great pool, spa and good gym with machines and some free weights.
Food is generous in portions and wines range from straightforward to seriously classy (but still good value). It was everything we’d expect from a luxury hotel and more. Definitely coming back some day soon.

Right from the moment you enter the staff are welcoming and very helpful. We had arrived with a hire car and my husband then had to get to airport to drop it off. He was able to use the hotel's shuttle service to return to the hotel. This is free and you can pre-book the shuttle service to take you to the hotel. Rooms were incredibly spacious, clean and in a modern design. The bathrooms could be in a magazine. It is unbelievable luxurious for a hotel airport!

Set in beautiful grounds with a unique rustic authentic feel. When I asked the staff for help with anything they were very obliging but sadly not overly pro active. Located a 20 minute walk from the eco via, which takes you on an hour walk into Ponte de Lima. The spa is a nice touch but definitely not ‘luxury’ and the flagship goats milk bath and massage although lovely was overpriced. The hotel also allowed me use of their bikes free of charge.

Hotel is nicely designed with chocolate as a theme. They also have a nice museum where you can explore and learn about chocolate. You get one free hot chocolate per room, which is nice.

The interior decor and design is lovely. Our room was very quiet and had a lovely sitting room. The staff were very accomodating and helpful. We took our large dog and she was made very welcome by the staff and other guests.

Beautiful hostel with lots going on, great bar and restaurant that is so good even people who aren’t staying in the hostel come to visit. delicious breakfast, trendy interior design and spacious and bright rooms with lovely wooden floor boards. Beds were super comfy. Location was great. Plus the staff were super friendly, everyone always saying hi and checking on you

Very clean and comfortable room with a lovely view of the river. Fantastic big bed and powerful shower. Free bottle of water and coffee for machine was topped up every day. Loved that they are trying to be eco friendly with paper liners in waste bins and reusable glass bottles for water. We used the indoor pool every day. It was never busy and when weather allowed we always managed to get a sunbed outside in the garden. Well designed modern hotel in a good location within walking distance of all the restaurants and beaches.
