Our name is ‘Hensler’ & this was essentially a ‘Hensler’ B & B’ in the Mosel Valley wine country of Germany.

The hotel was modern, clean, comfortable and is on a quiet street. Being up on the hill, there is a wonderful view of the river! There is a garage for parking bicycles and wine available for purchase! Breakfast consisted of boiled eggs, breads, coffee, meats, cheeses and cereals. There were no restaurants open in Burg on Wednesday, so we had to ride the 1.5 miles (or so) back to Riel for dinner. Most restaurants were not open between about 14:00-17:00

Walking distance to get to the city center. Full board breakfast was awesome. The managers were very kind & friendly almost seemed like family.

The appartment is nice. It is very clean and the location is great. The kitchen was smaller than we had expected and offers little space for the cooking preparations but it is quite well equipped. The bathroom is spacious and clean with a very good shower. The appartment is rather dark. I would recommend more lamps and stronger lightning and better internet.

This is an awesome place! Jan and René have an eye for detail. Everything is right where it should be, all the little things add up and you get a feeling of being home. Of course the major things are also in place - its clean, tidy, the rooms are spacious, location is perfect, bike garage is there, parking places are there, outdoor lounge and sitting / relaxation area in a beautiful garden. Yes the floors are squeaky, staircase and stairs also - but this makes it so great! It’s an old, traditional house, actually palace since it’s part of the place premises. Breakfast is a threat - fresh, various, delicious. I can only say - go there!
