Even though we spent only a short 1 night here, this location is wonderful, quiet and traditional. The host is amazing and even if we were delayed due to traditional German traffic jam, they welcomed us with a smile even at 11 pm. Nice rooms, very well maintained and clean. I was worried that the shared bathroom will be an unpleasant experience, but even with a full house, it didn't cause any problem, the bathroom being equipped with plenty of amenities and there aren't many rooms sharing it.

Very helpful and friendly staff, relaxed check in and check out. In fact, I was allowed to check in earlier on a very short notice because I arrived earlier than planned. Awesome location, great for hiking. There're also plenty of nice restaurants to eat out or have a beer after a hike. Room was comfortable even though the hotel is quite old. Everything was working and clean. Good value for the money.

Real home stay with lots of authentic decor and welcoming hostess. The bedding was exceptional, the balcony with a mountain view was just great.

The owner and his staff were super friendly. Our room was cute and comfy with a great location over the restaurant and the beer garden was just steps away.

A lovely little family run hotel. A beautiful place to stay with extremely friendly staff and great comfort. Place is quite and restful with a huge yard to relax in. House is clean and well presented. Lots of parking out front. Village location gives easy access to local tourist sites or just mountain roads to ride or drive. Owner has beer available downstairs if you want a drink in the evening. Supermarket next door or just up the road. Village restaurants quite nice with good food. Great views of the Alps from the rooms balcony. Excellent value for money.

The accommodation is located right on the main road, which we appreciated, and has a private parking. It takes about 20 mins by car to reach Hohenschwangau. It is a new construction with lovely & tasteful interior design, where wood dominates, and it gave us a feeling of being high in the mountains, on top, it was snowing outside! The room was spacious (if needed could also be connected to the adjacent room) and the plus is that the temperature in the room is controlled by the guest. The rooms are on the ground floor and the windows are equipped with external blinds. The bed mattress was super-comfortable and will be appreciated by back issues sufferers. The breakfast is fresh and tasty & as we were checking-out very early in the morning, we were provided with packed breakfast bags. The owners were super nice & welcoming & we'll happily book Pension Alpenfeeling again when travelling back to/through Bavaria.

The room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Staff were very nice and attentive. They also prepared the meals which were fantastic.
