The breakfast was AMAZING! even though it was not included in our rate and we paid a little bit extra, it was so worth it. Great value for what you get. One of the best hotel breakfast buffets we have had. The spread and variety was great and it reflected the culture. So fresh and colorful! I also really enjoyed the unexpected view from our room of the property's pond and garden - stunning!

The location was very convenient to Hamburg Airport, which made it very easy to get to my flight. It is also very close the U-Bahn station which gives you access to several Hamburg places. The staff was VERY friendly and the place is immaculate.

We booked the apartment for three nights. We panicked a little climbing the piss-stinking stairs (of the main house) but then a sparklingly clean wonderland of glittering kitsch was revealed. The beds were very comfortable, and it was an enormous amount of space for the price. The decor is simply [chef's kiss] for a stay on the Reeperbahn. The front door faces onto the main strip, and you can watch the parade of revelry go by directly under your nose, but when the dividing door between the living room and hallway is closed, the loudest Saturday party noise is completely gone. The bedroom and balcony face into a quiet courtyard. For ten euro a day, you can park in the garage under the house. The staff were easily reachable and very helpful. The city is totally walkable and everything was easy to reach on foot from here. We won't stay anywhere else in Hamburg!

Just wow. Beautiful, well-appointed home, garden and grounds. Our room and common areas were lovingly decorated with many fine details. Delighted to sip a morning coffee in the sunny sitting area while paging through books from the library stack. Roxane was very responsive and helpful and we will always be grateful for the family’s welcome to my ancestral homeland and for the lovely conversation. We also enjoyed chatting with other interesting guests, walking the neighborhood, meeting Roxane’s father who tends the exceptional gardens. The history of this area is rich, with the hosts being a vibrant part of the region.

Excellent place for a touristic or business stay. Super clean room and shared bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Fast internet. Very friendly staff. Almost whole place for myself. Fully equipped kitchen for common use with tea and coffee.

It's a nice budget option super central, in a quiet street in the university area. Cafés and restaurants very close, Schanze, St. Pauli, harbour - all very close, easy to reach. Not to forget Planten un Blomen, which everyone should visit. Friendy staff, nice rooms - I like it, have been there twice already.
