The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming truly the heart of this place! The location is perfect, right in the centre of Rotorua and walking distance to everything ( pack n save ). The hot tub was a lovely bonus after a day of exploring, and the facilities were spotlessly clean.

The centrally located Rock Solid Backpackers Rotorua offers free WiFi, a neighboring rock-climbing wall and a spacious guest lounge including a tour desk, a billiards table and a cinema.

It’s a small, cute hostel in a great location. Not far from the Intercity bus stop, really close to PakNsafe for shopping, a good café and a lot of restaurants around. I like that the hostel wasn’t crowded, it was more comfortable. I felt more like home then like in a hostel. The staff is really kind. I could leave my luggage at the reception after check out. I really recommend thus place!

Great hostel to stay, dorms have a curtain for privacy which is amazing. Common areas are like brand new. Staff was really nice and helped us plan our stay around.

The private room is very comfortable. The bathroom with a shower is very clean, and the kitchen is also tidy and hygienic. Whenever there’s availability, I always choose to stay here.

Hot pool was open until late. The cabin was clean, toilet was really nice, also the heater was good to have for the cold weather. They have a pool table which is pretty cool and a free simple, but nice breakfast. Location was the best, walking distance every where!
