You can reach the well-known ski areas of Kaprun and Zell am See in no time at all by car or ski bus (bus stop 400 metres away). Kaprun is located near a glacier and, with a summit of 3029 metres, is quite snow-sure. You can often ski there from November to May. The Zell am See ski area is very extensive and is fun for both beginners and advanced skiers. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the pistes.
