Welcome in Chalet Rood. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we do, when we are in our holiday home. The ideal starting point for wonderful ski days, bike- walking- hiking- trails, golf course and motor or car rides through the beautifull mountains. Jorik Rood our son who lives next door is youre host. A short distance away from the well-known town of Zell am See, boasting a fine view of Kaprun, this beautifully restored alpen chalet enjoys a central and sunny location in the village of Fürth/Piesendorf. 5-8 minutes away from the ski lifts of Kaprun and Zell am See and golf course . The chalet which only you will occupy, has 3 floors. 6 Well decorated bedrooms, on the top floor, partly with balcony and a luxurious bathroom. On the middle floor, there's a magnificent, spacious living room with a nice mountain chalet interior. The living room offers access to the large roof terrace from where you can enjoy some wonderful views. The open kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances, and you can eat together at the large dining table. There are a further two bedrooms on this floor as well a separated toilet and luxurious bathroom . You access the house at the ground floor, where you'll also find the bicycle/ski storage and a wonderful playroom for the children, a spacious sauna with restroom and patio with outside shower and the third luxurious bathroom with 2 walk-in showers. Due the high cost of electricity we charge 50 euro for short stay for using the Sauna. There are 6 parking spaces at this property. Three terraces. A garden with a play house a swing and slide for the children. The linen package consists of bed, bath and kitchen linen. The beds will be made up for you. For a short stay up to three days, we charge 15,00 pro pro person for linen package. The cleaning cost are 350,00 You can enter your holiday home from 4 p.m. Before that time, we might still be cleaning it.

Ski lovers know Kaprun and Zell am See for its fantastic ski resorts. The glacier in Kaprun is open during most of the year, so you can always enjoy the eternal snow. Skibus stop is at 100 meters, brings you in 5 minutes to the start of skipistes Kaprun and Zell am See. You can buy a skicard for the reguin Kaprun Zell an See and Saalbach-Hinterglemm. A large langlauf loipe is in front off the house. Apart from winter sports, the direct surroundings offer plenty of other activities which you can enjoy throughout all seasons like water sports, rafting, whitewater canoeing, hiking, mountain-biking or enjoying a good game of golf at the gorgeous 2 x 18-holes golf course which is just a few minutes away. In short: the entire region of Kaprun-Zell am See has plenty to offer during all four seasons! Close by Sigmund Thun Klamm , Zeller See, Gross Glocknerstrasse, Stausee, Hohe Taurern, Krimml Wasserfall, Pingzauer lokahlbahn, and the beautifull historic town Salzburg.
