Think dramatic cliff-top walks, ancient pink granite pinnacles jutting from the coastline, and some of Victoria’s most powerful surf breaks—all wrapped up in one stunning southern point. The Cape Woolamai Circuit Walk takes you along sheer cliff edges with wild, sweeping views across the island and out to sea. It’s the reward for lacing up your hiking boots: superb panoramas, spectacular coastal scenery, and those famous Pinnacles rocks that have been here far longer than any of us. This is also where you’ll find the island’s largest colony of Short-tailed Shearwaters and one of Australia’s most respected surf beaches. Patrolled by Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club during summer and part of the National Surfing Reserve, it’s a beach with serious credentials.
