These thoughtfully designed studios are compact, well-zoned, and styled with sliding glass panels or fixed dividers separating living and sleeping areas. Best suited to 1–2 guests, each apartment can sleep up to 3 or accommodate separate sleepers. Jungle (Level 1) Bold wallpaper and lush styling create a jungle feel. Features fluted sliding glass panels and a King Living electric sofa-bed (king single). Lagoon (Level 2) Soft tones and calm styling create a relaxed feel. Features fluted sliding glass panels and a King Living electric sofa-bed (king single). Hive (Level 3) High ceilings, treetop views and angular walls create a cosy retreat. Features a fixed fluted glass divider and an Ecosa double sofa-bed. INCLUDED IN ALL: - Queen bed with built-in storage - Sofa-bed (linen provided on request) - Compact kitchen with cooktop, combi oven+microwave, fridge (no freezer), dishwasher - Cooking essentials - Washer/dryer and iron - Body + hand lotions, Body and hand wash, shampoo and conditioner - Cleaning essentials NOISE: Some footstep noise from the level above may be heard, depending on how guests move around. We’ve installed acoustic carpet and sound-deadening underlay to reduce this as much as possible, however it can’t be eliminated entirely. Most guests don’t find it disruptive, but if you’re sensitive to noise, we recommend the top-floor apartment (Hive), where there are no guests above you, or the first-floor apartment (Jungle), where overhead noise is minimal. Braddon is Canberra's most densely populated suburb, so it's no surprise that the lifestyle and entertainment options in Braddon are thriving. Braddon is home to arguably some of the best coffee in Canberra. Even the most particular of coffee connoisseurs will be impressed by Barrio Collective Coffee, on Lonsdale Street and Lonsdale Street Roasters. Also on Lonsdale Street is a slew of bars and restaurants, with spots along this strip topping many of Canberra’s ‘must-visit’ lists for brunch, breweries, vino, and vibes. Staying right in the heart of it all guarantees you’ll never be bored — with different spots for date night every day of the week, there’s no reason to venture beyond Braddon. Particularly worthy of mention is Bentspoke, which is consistently named as one of Canberra’s best microbreweries, Eightysix restaurant, and our favorite, Corella. You’ll see plenty of impressive street art along the roadside buildings and several yoga studios and modern gyms, art classes, and music schools all located in Braddon. Haig Park comes to life every Sunday with the Haig Park Markets. From live music, delish street eats, fresh produce, and everything in between, it's a must-do if you're in town over the weekend. When you want to head out but don't want to get right into it on Lonsdale Street, The Howling Moon is at the end of the street, right next to the Astin apartments. It's a rooftop bar with arguably one of the best views across Canberra. You can settle in with a bottle of wine or two, get some snacks or drop in for a main meal.
