Found the accommodation very acceptable and comfortable.
Found the accommodation very acceptable and comfortable. Good value for money for a single traveller passing through from Qld to Vic.
Location a little bit off the highway, but worth the effort to get there for the accommodation.
People in the hotel to the motor inn very welcoming and staff at nearby takeaway also friendly.

I was only staying one night, but could have based myself there for longer. Extremely comfortable, clean and modern bathroom, excellent value for money. Excellent on-site restaurant but also short walk to alternative cafes/restaurants/bottle shops/chemist.

Very pretty and lots to do in the surrounding area- only half an hour from Canberra.
The local hotel serves great meals and there are takeaways plus a grocery store attached to the petrol station selling everything you need to make your own meals.

Unless you're there for the wineries, there is very little else to recommend about Murrumbateman....I had read such good reports too. I found the public areas & footpaths very scruffy & needing a mow & weed. This seemed to be all over the town. Loved the silo art & would like to have had more time to explore the cemetery but wasn't to be.

Welcoming hosts made our stay at this historical homestead incredible. A step back in time into a magnificently furnished homestead surrounded by magnificent gardens. Situated close to Yass and only a short distance from Canberra.

We love this place for pet friendly accomodation.
We love this place for pet friendly accomodation. Its comfortable and easy to get to. The local pub has plenty of outdoor tables so you can have a great meal, just down the road with your pet. The only fault is, we wish they'd use the extra money you pay for having a pet , to clean the carpets.

Idyllic spot perfect for a.quiet weekend break. Murrumbateman is a 5 minute drive away to stock up groceries and then it's just unwind, relax and recharge. The barn has everything you need for a great stay. I'll definitely be back.
Things to be aware of - the toilet is compostible (no biggie at all. 100% smell free) and I'd recommend bringing your own water to drink.

Modern clean room. Fantastic shower hot x strong Bed was super comfy and clean.
Daily cleaning with helpful cheery staff.
Air con and TV.
The motel is part of a hotel which serves great food . It is quiet and handy to Yass and Canberra.
