My husband and I live in this beautiful home in Boonah. Our house along with the shed was built in 1935. It is a one of a kind in Boonah. Hideaway on Hume #2 is located in the refurbished 1935 shed. We are located only 550m from the town Centre. We are also on the top of the hill with some lovely views from our backyard. The B&B is very comfortable. Its a perfect couples getaway. Excellent location for hikers and climbers too. We have a lot of birdlife visit our property too. Our property is central to everything in the Scenic Rim. We also have 2 more BnBs located at the same property called Hideaway on Hume and Hideaway on Hume #3.
Thank you for booking Hideaway on Hume #2. My husband Dennis & I love living in Boonah. We have a dog called Max. I really love to welcome my guests personally if I can. Our hobbies are camping, cruising, entertaining with friends, gardening and walking. We love to share with our guests everything Boonah and the Scenic Rim has to offer.
Boonah has many cafes, an art gallery, cinema, library, Supa IGA, 3 op shops, 4 pubs, bakeries, butchers and much more. Within a 20 minute drive we have three dams. If you like to stargaze then go to Moogerah Dam on a dark night and you will be amazed by the amount of stars. There are many national parks to go hiking or rock climbing. There are numerous wineries. We also have the largest camel farm in the southern hemisphere. If you love to drive in the country then this is the place to visit.
