AustraliaSuch a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! The host Christelle was so lovely, she made a fire every evening and provided a lovely continental breakfast each morning. Despite the cold snap the fire in the common area and the heating in the rooms was divine. This was a beautiful stay, great for a nice countryside getaway.

The little touches, like the welcome card, complimentary marshmallows, chocolate wheeton biscuits, and small bottle of port were really nice. Beautiful area to stay and the facilities were amazing.

Great location just over an hour outside Brisbane but feels like a world away. Good country hopsitality - locals so friendly and happy looking. We came here to attend the Kalbar Sunflower festival but there seem to be plenty attractions on offer year round - Food festival, local markets, hike/ bike trails, Camel farm etc

Boonah and surrounds are well worth a visit.
Boonah and surrounds are well worth a visit. The town is Quiet friendly, welcoming. Take the 93 road - from Brisbane- the views are spectacular heading into the Boonah township. Grab a map - and be sure to visit the other close by towns. Kalbar, Mt Alford. Dial it down- Dial it up, There is plenty to do to fill in your days. You can be as lazy or active as you wish. Bushwalking, kayaking, country drives, Star Gazing, long lunches, coffees, wineries with amazing views. You'll be captivated by the scenery!

Boonah is a lovely town with a village like atmosphere.
Boonah is a lovely town with a village like atmosphere. It is a perfect location to explore the Scenic Rim - close to Cunningham's Gap, Mt French National Park and Mogerah Dam. There are plenty of places to eat and drink including cafes, pubs, fine dinning and takeaways. We enjoyed morning tea at The Story Tree cafe, lunch at the Mogerah Dam cafe, lunch on the Terrace at the Kooroomba Lavender Farm and pizzas from Boonah Pizza.

Boonah is a fantastic country town and great for a few days...
Boonah is a fantastic country town and great for a few days visit. The countryside of the Scenic Rim is amazing and very beautiful.
Great country and pub food. Lavender farm and vineyard stunning views. Town very clean and full of perfectly maintained Queenslander houses.
Brilliant and memorable area.

It’s a very old town and only basic amenities I think our accommodation was by far the best in the town.
We had brunch at a fantastic cafe “ Revival Cafe Boonah” amazing food coffee and service this destination alone is worth a drive.
Had Chinese for dinner absolutely delicious!
Loved that mainstream takeaway wasn’t available much to my daughter and partners dismay.

delicious food, great staff, beautiful atmosphere.
Stayed at Boonah Motel, the pool was great on the 37 degree day.
Also very quiet rooms.

Owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I was trying to get a taxi to wedding venue, but appears even though there are 3 taxi adverts online in Boonah, none of them are working. The owner even offered to give me a lift if I couldn't find transport. Long story short one of the staff cleaners had her son come and pick me up a drive me to the venue 10mins away. The room was extremely clean & comfortable. Thankyou all, owners and staff you were all amazing, along with son.

We were visiting friends in the area, the location was perfect, we could walk everywhere. The Staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. The rooms have been recently renovated and are clean, modern & comfortable. We enjoyed the Hotel's beer garden with live music on the Friday night and with friends on Saturday afternoon. Aside from some other hotel guests being noisy returning to their rooms, it was extremely quiet and comfortable.

Great care has been taken in preparing this B&B for a peaceful relaxing visit to Boonah
over and above what we had expected.
Belinda is a couteous and delightful Hostess, who ensured we had all we needed. Provided in the barhroom were unexpected personal beauty products.
Delightful stay. We will return.

We stayed at "Hideaway on Hume" as a base for hiking in the beautiful Scenic Rim area.
"Hideaway on Hume" is a spacious, comfortable, clean and well set up B&B.
Belinda and Dennis made us feel welcome, and Belinda provided helpful advice on dining options in Boonah.
