Nestled among gum trees, our minimalist Tiny Home offers a peaceful retreat just a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive from the vibrant town of Daylesford. Stroll through streets lined with cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas — then return to a slower, simpler space. The space Our cozy, solar-powered tiny home has an open-plan layout and a snug loft bed. It runs entirely off-grid, using solar energy and harvested rainwater. The composting toilet reflects our commitment to low-impact, sustainable living, and the home includes a full-size shower for your comfort. *We do not provide bed linen, bath towels* Please be mindful of water and electricity use during your stay — especially in winter, as the house has no backup generator. When the battery is empty, there’s no power. There is no air-conditioning, but warmth and simplicity are part of the charm. Guest access Guests have private access to the cottage and the surrounding garden area. The main house, shed, and the rest of the garden are private. A gate at the bottom of the garden opens to walking tracks that lead into the forest or into town. Other things to note - To conserve resources, we do not provide bed linen, bath towels, or tea towels. This helps reduce water use and avoid unnecessary cleaning chemicals — and keeps your stay more affordable. - WiFi is available but unreliable. However, Telstra and Optus 4G work very well. (Vodafone does not work in Daylesford.) - Landscaping is ongoing as we continue improving the garden. - You may see or hear us and our children nearby, as our home is adjacent. - Please drive carefully — our kids or our friendly cat may be wandering nearby. - Our cat may pop in to say hello. Reconnect with nature, slow down, and enjoy the simplicity of life off the grid.

Neighbourhood highlights Nestled in the bush, your closest neighbors will be us, along with the kangaroos and the kookaburras, offering a truly serene and natural setting. Getting around While having your own car is the most convenient option, it's worth noting that you can reach town by foot in approximately 20 minutes.
