Was met with fresh milk for our coffee, a wonderfully clean and well appointed room, and the sweetest backyard area with dining seating and a weeping willow. I would love to stay here again sometime and am happy to recommend it to other travelers.

United KingdomThe property was ideal for us. Very central and easy for us to walk around town. It was very cold on the day we arrived and once we worked out the heating system and turned the electric blanket on we were lovely and cosy. We really appreciated all the food that the host provided. We were visiting friends who were having a big party,so didn’t have time to shop. The only downside to the property was no WiFi and poor phone reception. But it wasn’t too much trouble once we got used to it.

AustraliaRoom was very large and extremely cozy. Air conditioner was on on our arrival which was great because it was hot day. There is gas heater in the room as well if you feel cold. Jacuzzi in the room was exceptionally clean and worked well. The view from the room healed my sored eyes used to city views.

Kyneton is such a beautiful town.
Kyneton is such a beautiful town. I was fortunate to stay in Winter yet still experience the gorgeous Autumn colours of the trees. It is safe and friendly. It's like stepping back in time with colonial buildings and architecture. The Country Cobb bakery is there (owned by previous Master Chef participant) and I experienced the best egg, cheese and bacon roll I had ever tasted in my life! Apparently the pies are incredible. Piper street has amazing shops, restaurants and art as well. It is clean and charming. I definately will visit again.

The sincerity of the host and owner of the property was super accommodating. She was especially diligent when trying to make amends for any misleading information from Booking.com, which does not mention the shared facilities.

So many historic and interesting buildings- this town is one...
So many historic and interesting buildings- this town is one of several in central Victoria that are so worth spending time in. Mineral springs, history, architecture, coffee, food, wine, and a REALLY good bookshop make Kyneton one of the best!

We were only in Kyneton overnight but walking the streets in...
We were only in Kyneton overnight but walking the streets in the early evening was a delight. The old buildings/architecture had us planning a return ( much longer) visit. For an early breakfast we wandered the streets and found a great ‘locals’ spot, Monsieur Pierre which was yummy and affordable. Both the town and surroundings deserve a few days exploring.

It's very close to Melbourne & these towns get forgotten about now the freeway bypasses most of them. Was really nice to stop off there & Woodend & see how they have developed since we used to drive through them.

Kyneton is such a lovely town, beautiful architecture, and gardens. Great shopping, fab art galleries, lovely friendly people. Plenty of drinking and eating options.Easy to walk round whole town.
We ate at the Bowling club, food was ok, nothing fancy but prices were good especially drinks prices.

Friendly welcoming owners, great location, walking distance from Kyneton, near shops, bars, bookstores, Kyneton Botanical Gardens, cafes. Walking distance to train station (uphill).
Immaculate rooms, excellent showers and beautiful peaceful garden with amazing big tree to observe possums!! Comfortable beds, nice and quiet at night. I will certainly be back and recommend.

We were aware that the Shamrock had shared bathrooms, no frills in bedroom but were so pleasantly surprised at the spacious, well decorated room and newly renovated and spacious bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable. We ate in the hotel where the menu was varied and staff lovely. The location was right in the centre of town, close to many cafes.

Self catering. There was a toaster etc so pretty easy to do this plus there are great cafes in Kyneton. Spoil yourself . Theres a microwave and coffee machine. The studio was perfect and beautifully decorated. Of the bonus was the dogs Hali and Charlie. There if you need to pat .... easy to walk into town . Comfy bed.

Fantastic location in Kyneton. Nice quiet street and a short walk into shops, cafes and pubs.
Spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable. Thankfully on a hot weekend, the aircon worked perfectly.
